TEAM TRAIL UPDATE: Our 2024 Classic dates and location has changed! It’s now November 16th and 17th on Cherokee Lake launching from the dam launch in Jefferson City, TN.

With 800 miles of shoreline, many marinas and resorts, 3 state parks, 2 wildlife management areas, and 14 species of fish, Norris Lake is the perfect fishing destination, and a perfect match for the Tennessee Team Trail Bass Fishing Tournament Series. The lake extends 56 miles up the Powell River and 72 miles up the Clinch River, and it’s surrounded by the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee. Not only is it one of TVA’s cleanest lakes, but it has something for everyone to enjoy — from those looking to fish or those who just want to relax.

Fishing, boating, swimming, camping — you can do it all. Norris Lake is a premier fishing destination for many and is popular for its bass fishing.

Norris Lake offers many recreational opportunities. It has several conservation lands such as Norris Dam State Park, The Cove Creek Wildlife Management Area, and Chuck Swan State Forest that offer hiking and other family friendly outdoor activities. Spend your morning out on the water fishing, your afternoon enjoying water sports, and your night camping underneath the stars! It truly is a lake like no other.
